DivorceCare for Kids is an exciting program that helps your church start and sustain a divorce recovery ministry for children ages 5–12. DC4K is the perfect complement to the adult DivorceCare program. Used together, they create an environment that fosters healthier relationships in divorcing families.
DivorceCare for Kids is a complete curriculum kit that will equip your lay ministry team to lead 13 weekly group sessions. When your church offers DC4K, hurting children will be introduced to a Christ-centered, biblical approach to healing!

Workbook
A fun-filled workbook designed just for children features activities to motivate the children to learn in interesting ways about divorce, feelings, families, loneliness and much more. As the children utilize the workbook throughout the 13-week program, God’s Word will continually fill their minds and hearts and bring comfort to them. Each child in DC4K will need a workbook.

Extensive Leader’s Guide
The Leader’s Guide is filled with information about games, activities, logistics, crafts, exercises, stories and guidance on how to lead a DC4K group. The Leader’s Guide contains extensive resources to help you publicize your program.
Publicity brochures
Attractive, professionally designed four-color publicity brochures. Shipped flat in packages of 100 with a space to insert information about your DC4K group.
Publicity posters
Colorful posters sized “just right” for display on bulletin boards in your church or community and great for inserting in your church bulletin. Shipped 100 posters per package (two per 8.5 x 11" page), each poster includes a space for publicizing the specifics of your DC4K group.
Music CDs
Included in the materials are two CDs with 30 songs written or arranged for the children in your group. One CD highlights the emotions and issues children face. The second CD presents children singing scriptures and helps bring participants closer to God.

Stories for Kids in Divorce is a read aloud storybook created to promote hope in every child who is struggling with the divorce of his or her parents.

Videos on DVD
DivorceCare for Kids features 25 original video dramas on three DVDs, with two separate video dramatizations each week. Children connect with the character actors in the real-life drama in the Kids Like Me videos. During the Stories from the Bible videos, Uncle Bill helps his niece, nephew and their friends understand what the Bible has to teach them about their lives.

Bible verse flip chart
The Alphabet Stretches and weekly Bible verse flip chart brings various scriptures alive as the children read, act out and connect with God’s Word.
Handheld mascot puppet
Herby, a handheld puppet, has six interchangeable pillow “feeling” faces. Herby is great to use to introduce various lesson concepts and emotions. Herby personalizes various workbook pages, and Herby’s musical rap welcomes the children each week.

The Herby’s Feelings large wall poster helps children identify and communicate their feelings and emotions.
Training video
Included in the DC4K kit is a Leader Equipping video presentation. This DVD contains over an hour of leadership training hosted by DC4K’s author and developer, Linda Jacobs.

Energy Ball
The Energy Ball is a powerful hands-on tool used during devotion times. It is a small, lightweight ball with a circuit board inside. When the conductors on the outside are connected, the ball emits a high-pitched sound and lights up.
Plastic carrying case
The durable green plastic carrying case can be used for easy storage and transporting DC4K materials or supplemental items such as art supplies.

The Leaders’ Forum is a helpful tool we provide for our leaders. This email-based communications network is an active exchange of ideas between leaders around the world.
