Our first session begins on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Time: 6:45pm to 8:30pm
Overview:
DC4K is a biblically based program designed to help children grades 1 to 5
process the divorce or separation of their parents.
Each session is full of games, fun activities, arts and crafts, stories, exercise,
videos, and music centered around a weekly theme.
Throughout DC4K, the children will realize that they are not the only kids in this situation, and they’ll learn how to sort through their emotions and communicate their feelings with their parent(s).
We hope you will consider allowing your child to join us for this class.
Things to Note:
This class runs in tandem with the adult DivorceCare class times. Therefore the end of the kids lessons are flexible, so the class may end earlier than 8:30 or run right to 8:30 if the adult class is still using their full discussion time.
Childcare is available for children younger than 1st grade.
The first session will be devoted to building a trusting, safe environment where your children can truly share, and truly heal.
Children will register in person and guardians will fill out a card with emergency contact and other pertinent information.
We DO NOT charge a registration fee.
We'd rather you and your children come than let costs get in the way of you attending these classes. If you want to support the program, we accept free will donations that will go towards defraying the cost of the children's activity books.
